TRIP COST’S

Wilmot trips are $65.00.

Alpine Valley trips are $70.00.

Cascade, Devils Head, and Chestnut are $95.00

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A TRIP

ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE ON-LINE .  Please see the "Parent Manual" for details. 

HOW TO CANCEL A REGISTRATION

Cancellations are accepted via PHONE.  (847) 831-4300  Please see the "Parent Manual" tab for details.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Registration deadline for all trips (Monday trips too) is the Wednesday before the trip date. 

LATE FEES

All registrations AND cancellations placed after the Wednesday registration deadline will incur a $20.00 late processing fee. 

LONG DISTANCE TRIPS TO CASCADE, DEVIL'S HEAD, AND CHESTNUT

The buses for these trips depart from the Lake Forest and Highland Park bus stops ONLY.  Buses depart at 7:00am and will return at 7:00pm.   Lessons are not offered.

FRIDAY NIGHT TRIPS TO WILMOT

The bus for these trips will depart from the Highland Park bus stop ONLY.  The bus will depart at 5:00pm and will return at 11:00pm.  Currently seats are limited to one bus and members must be 13 or older to attend.  Lessons are not offered.

WEATHER

Weather can be a factor on trips however, modern winter clothing allows anyone to be outside in all but the most extreme conditions.  Warming lodges are always open and the club has our own white flag table staffed at all times to assist members.  If a trip is cancelled, we will send emails plus post a notice on this site.  You can also call the Snowflake hotline at Williams Ski Haus (847-831-4300).   For up to the minute ski area conditions see the links to our ski areas on the trip schedule page .  Remember local areas make lots of snow!  They can't be open and in business if they don't have enough snow to ski on so they make many feet of snow throughout the season.  When snow melts from your yard, they can still be skiing on machine groomed, manmade snow.
